After the first oil filling, the self-priming pump doesn't need to be filled with oil, and it can pump the low or far liquid into the pump body and then drain it. Unlike centrifugal pumps, when the liquid level is lower than the pump, the bottom valve must be installed in the inlet pipeline. Because of the poor sealing performance of the bottom valve, the centrifugal pump needs tank oil for the next start after the oil in the inlet pipeline returns, and the flow of the centrifugal pump will be affected after the bottom valve is installed, and self-priming will occur.
